Introduction to Beauty Short Course - Beauty Basics
This short course provides everyday practical beauty basics for those with a keen interest in beautycare. You will be provided with an insight into the different aspects of beauty therapy,and introduced to various beauty techniques.
The course will enhance your own personal grooming or act as a precursor to the ITEC Beauty Specialist Diploma course should you decide on a career in the beauty industry. Either way this course is an easy and fun way to add to your knowledge of beautycare.
Course Content
By the end of the course participants should be able to:
- Identify suitable products for various skintypes
- Perform a pre make facial cleanse
- Select and apply make up suitable for a day look
- Provide handcare and mini manicure
The course is mainly hands on practical sessions with tutor demonstrations and participants working in pairs and individually as the situation dictates to perfect the various techniques.
Supporting course notes will be provided along with a schedule of the day's activities.
You will be required to bring a notebook and pen, two large towels, 1 small towel, fabric hairband, hand mirror, hand sanitizing gel or antiseptic wipes and your own make up products and brushes.

Course dates and times: Tuesdays 8,15&22 May 2012
Day time Course NABTC1: 10.00-13.00 for 3 weeks
Evening Course: NABTC2: 18.45-21.45 for 3 weeks
